About Llegamos

Llegamos is a Uruguayan app that tells a household, every month, whether it will make it: what is due, what is already paid, what is left and how much to set aside for what is coming. This page says who makes it, how it pays for itself and what it never does.

01

Why it exists

Most households do not lose track because of one big expense, but because of the sum of things they knew about: the rent, the power bill, the health plan, the car tax that comes every other month, the card statement carrying the instalments of three purchases. Spreadsheets work until someone has to remember to open them, and finance apps from abroad think of one person, one currency and a bank connection.

Llegamos was made to run a household month the way it is lived in Uruguay: bills that repeat and one-off expenses, in pesos and in dollars, among several people who put in different amounts, with the money set aside for what is coming in plain sight. Everything it does is told in detail in the features.

02

Who makes it

Llegamos is made by Marcos García, a software developer in Montevideo. It is an independent project: it does not belong to a bank, a lender or a card issuer, and it earns nothing if you take a loan or open an account. Marcos is also the data controller under the law, as the privacy policy says.

03

How it pays for itself

What a household needs is free, forever and without a card. The free plan may show ads. There is a paid Pro plan that removes the ads and adds what people who run more than one account ask for (several groups, more WhatsApp messages, the weekly summary). The prices are on the home page.

The ads are served by Google and receive nothing of what you enter: no amounts, no names, no categories. We do not sell or rent data.

04

What Llegamos never does

  • It does not connect to your bank or ask for passwords, tokens or your online banking user. What is in Llegamos was entered by you or someone in your group.
  • It does not move money. Setting money aside in a pocket is a note: the money stays wherever you keep it. The app proposes how much to set aside and you confirm; nothing moves by itself.
  • It does not sell you financial products or recommend banks, cards or loans.
  • It does not ask for data over chat. The WhatsApp assistant is for logging an expense or a bill by writing; it will never ask for a password or a card number.

05

How the pages are written

The pages of this site explain how Llegamos works and, in Spanish, everyday household money in Uruguay. Every real-world fact (a date, a rate, a law) links to its official source, every guide says when it was last updated, and the examples with figures say they are examples. They explain and compare; they never tell you which bank or product to pick.
