WhatsApp assistant
Track expenses on WhatsApp, by text or voice note
With the Llegamos WhatsApp assistant you log an expense or mark a bill as paid without opening the app: write to it like you would to a person, or send a voice note, and it lands in your group as if you had entered it by hand.
01
The expense that never gets logged
Groceries on the way home, the pharmacy, a tank of fuel. Small things, and in the moment you do not feel like opening an app and filling in a form. You leave it for later, and later you forget. At the end of the month the numbers do not add up.
WhatsApp is already open. Typing “spent 450 at the supermarket” takes three seconds, and that is what the assistant handles: it understands what you said and logs it in your group.
02
How to use it
Link your WhatsApp with a code
In your Llegamos profile tap “Generate code” and send “LINK” with that code from the WhatsApp you want to use. The code lasts 15 minutes and works once. You never type your phone number anywhere.
Write to it like a person
“spent 450 at the supermarket”, “paid the electricity bill”, “paid the car tax with the Car tax pocket”. You can say more than one thing in a message.
A text is saved at once
The assistant replies with what it saved: the kind, the name, the amount and the day. It shows up in the app right away, for you and your whole group.
A voice note waits for a “yes”
A voice note can be misheard, so the assistant tells you what it understood and waits: “YES” saves it, “NO” discards it. The confirmation lasts 10 minutes.
03
What it can do
- Log an expense: a one-off, like groceries or a dinner, with its amount, day and category.
- Mark a bill as paid: “paid the electricity bill” marks this month’s due date of your monthly bill.
- Create a new bill that repeats, like a subscription you just started.
- Pay from a pocket: if you name a savings pocket, it uses it only when the name matches, the currency is the same and there is enough in it. Otherwise it counts it against what comes in and tells you.
- Use another currency: if your group keeps several currencies, tell it which one.
Everything goes through the same rules as the app: a bill must be pending this month to be marked paid, the amount must be positive and the currency one of the group’s. If something does not fit, it does not make it up.

An example
- “spent 450 at the supermarket”
- Expense: Supermarket · $ 450 · saved
- “paid the electricity bill”
- Payment paid: Electricity · $ 2,450.50 · saved
- Voice note: pharmacy
- Expense: Pharmacy · $ 1,250 · waits for “yes”
Three of the 30 messages the free plan includes each month.
05
Free and Pro
The free plan includes 30 messages a month and Pro 300. Each message you send counts as one. If you reach the limit, the assistant tells you; you can keep adding things in the app, which has no limit on bills or expenses. For couples and families, each person links their own WhatsApp and what they log is under their name, so shared expenses know who paid what.
06
Privacy and limits
- We do not keep what you write or your voice notes: only what gets logged in your group and, for each message, its time, to count how many you used.
- Messages are interpreted by Google’s Gemini, on its free tier. Under the Gemini API terms, Google may keep them and use them to improve its models. Do not send it anything you would not want Google to see; if you prefer nothing of yours to go there, do not link your phone.
- It only replies when you write: it never messages you first, with no ads and no bill reminders. Those reach your phone another way.
- It cannot read your chats or contacts, only the messages you send to it.
- You can unlink it from your profile at any time, and your number is deleted.
Frequently asked questions
Which number do I write to?
You see it in your Llegamos profile, under “WhatsApp assistant”, when you generate the linking code. From there you can open WhatsApp with the message ready.
Why does a voice note need a “yes” and a text does not?
Because a voice note can be misheard. The assistant tells you what it understood and saves it only when you answer “YES”. A new message before you answer takes its place.
Which group do my messages go to?
Your group: the one you created or, if you created none, the first one you joined. Your profile shows which group your WhatsApp is linked to.
What if it gets something wrong?
Edit or delete it in the app, like any expense or bill. That is why the assistant always replies with what it saved.
